• Private participant-only messaging tied to applications.
• Interview scheduling and in-app video interviews.
• Worker consent before requested background screening proceeds.
• Notification and status history across key hiring actions.

Employers remain responsible for their hiring decisions, legal obligations, job-site safety, qualification requirements and any screening they request. Screening should be relevant to the role and used in a lawful, fair and proportionate manner.

Never send passwords, banking credentials or unnecessary sensitive identity documents through ordinary UAreHire messages. Where a screening provider is used, sensitive screening information should be provided through that provider's secure process.

• Be cautious of requests to pay money to obtain a job.
• Verify unusual requests before sharing sensitive information.
• Do not accept instructions to move money, cash cheques or purchase gift cards for a supposed employer.
• Report suspicious accounts or postings to support@uarehire.com.
