Verification
Background screening with candidate knowledge and consent.
UAreHire provides a workflow for employers to request appropriate checks. Screening itself may be performed by an independent third-party screening provider.
How the process works
- An employer selects the screening checks it wants to request for a candidate.
- The worker receives the request and can review it before consenting or declining.
- If the worker consents, the approved screening provider may collect the information needed to perform the selected checks.
- UAreHire receives status information needed to display the progress of the screening workflow.
- The employer remains responsible for deciding how legally permitted screening information is used in its hiring decision.
Sensitive information
UAreHire is designed so that highly sensitive screening materials, such as identity-document images and detailed background reports, can be handled by the screening provider rather than stored as ordinary worker-profile information.
Employer responsibilities
Employers should request only checks that are lawful, job-related and appropriate for the role. Employers are responsible for complying with applicable employment, human-rights, privacy and screening laws when requesting or relying on screening information.
No guarantee
A completed check does not guarantee a person's future conduct, suitability, qualifications or job performance. Screening information should be considered together with other relevant hiring information.
